A special day in the honor of mothers in several countries is celebrated on the second Sunday in May but in large numbers of countries is celebrated in different time of the year. But every where the spirit on this day is the same. All over the world the mothers are respected and for their devotion towards their kids.
Mothers Day in Canada is celebrated on the second Sunday in May. There it is the most popular festival after Christmas and Valentines Day. The people thank to their mothers on this day mainly sending cards and flowers. The cards sale on Mothers Day breaks all records. They are the most common used methods that children used to express their love. Many people take their mothers out for a dinner or the kids prepare the dinner at home so their mother can has a day off from the kitchen.
In Australia Mothers Day is celebrated on the same day as in Canada and USA. People celebrate this day with lot of joy and enthusiasm. This day gives them the chance to express gratitude to their mothers. It is tradition to wear carnation on Mothers Day in Australia. If a person wears white carnation it is to honor a deceased mother but the color carnation signifies that his mother is living. To show respect on this day the children pamper their mothers on this special day with gifts, flowers and breakfast on bed.
