Mother’s day is the very special day you can express your love and affection towards your mom. Thrill your sweet mother with a craft made on your own. Pamper her with your care and attention!

Here are some ideas on Mothers day crafts that may be made by elder children.

•    Potholder for Mothers Day

You will need white pot holders, permanent markers, colors and colored stick ons.

How to make potholder?
•    The key thing is to think over a lovely design for the potholder.
•    Once you decided how to design it draw the picture on a piece of paper to see how it will look.
•     If you are satisfied with the design copy it onto the potholder.
•    Draw the picture on the potholder with permanent markers. To make it showier you can use colors.
•    To personalize your gift you can put down in the middle of the potholder “You Are The best Mom on the Earth! or ‘Mom I Love You’.
•    In order to keep in memory such a wonderful day put down the date on the back of potholder.

•    Flower Ribbon Pin Craft

You will need pin back, ribbon that is one and a half inches wide, florist wire, fun foam, buttons, Green chenille stems.

How to make flower ribbon pin craft?

•    With the florist wire make a hole in the ribbon on one side.
•    Weave the wire in and out down one side of the ribbon bunching up the ribbon as you go. When you have enough ribbon on the wire to make a flower, you can cut the ribbon and put the ribbon’s ends together.
•    Wind the ends of the wire around each other and cut the unnecessary wire.
•    Attach a button and pompom at the center of the flower.
•    Take  a green chenille stem to create a stem and leaves of the flower
•    Stick the stem to the back of the flower.
•    Attach a pin back at the flower back.
•    Handmade Bouquet

You will need colors, glue, scissors, light-colored construction and skin colored construction papers.

How to make handmade bouquet?

•    Cut up the skin-colored paper in shape of hand.
•    To the lower left part of another piece of paper glue the palm of the hand.
•    With colors draw the flower stems.  You have to begin each stem on the hand and have it go in the direction of the center of the paper.
•    In order the flowers to be look as if they are shown in the hand you need to stick the fingertips of the paper onto the palm and the stems of the flowers.
•    Draw flowers and leaves on the stems.
•    In addition you can stick flowers made from colorful construction paper.
Now you can present your original gift to your lovely dear mom!
