Mothers Day Easy Crafts

Your mother will be really happy and won’t believe that you have prepared this soap especially for her. It is easy and all you need is: 200 g Clear glycerin, 2 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds, 5 teaspoons of corn meal, pink food color, soap mold and peach scent. According to the packet instructions melt the clear glycerin and add three drops of pink food color and three drops of peach scent. Then mix the corn meal with poppy seeds and add to the melted glycerin. Pour the mixture into mold and leave until firm. Then remove it from the mold and wrap in nice paper.

Decorate soap with dry flowers. On the soap, using a paint brush, give four or five coats of gloss, on the side you have chosen to decorate. Give enough time, between the coats and allow to dry. When completely dry give another coat and position the dry flowers as you like. Do not leave air bubbles under the flowers and give three more coats.

Make a wonderful gift to your mother, turning all half empty bottles of shampoo into a great bubble bath mixture. For the mixture you will need 1/2 cup shampoo, 3/4 cup water and 1/4 teaspoon table salt. You have to pour the shampoo and water into a bowl and gently stir until blended. Add the salt and stir the mixture. When the bubble bath mixture is ready pour it into a decorative bottle. Cap it and wipe it. Design your own label and write your wishes on it. Cut the label off and stick it to the bottle. Cut a piece of contact paper and stick it over the label to keep it dry.

This mirror is so beautiful and everyone else will want one. It is a great gift for Mothers Day. Use dry flowers. On the back side of a hand mirror, coat with gloss sealer and while it is still wet, position the flowers as you like and recoat three times. Be sure that there are no bubbles under the flowers. The final coats will help you keep the flowers design while using it.
